Ο Drake ζητά από το δήμαρχο ισχυρότερο WiFi για να ολοκληρώσει το άλμπουμ του
Παράπονα στο δήμαρχο έκανε ο Drake με αφορμή την ποιότητα του σήματος WiFi.
Ο Drake αντιμετώπισε πρόβλημα καθώς δούλευε για το νέο άλμπουμ του.
Ο Καναδός ράπερ έσπευσε στο Instagram, ενώ ήταν απασχολημένος στο στούντιο, για να επικοινωνήσει με το δήμαρχο του Pickering στο Οντάριο του Καναδά, ζητώντας ισχυρότερο σήμα WiFi.
«Μπορεί ο δήμαρχος του Pickering να εγκαταστήσει μερικούς ισχυρότερους πυλώνες WiFi έτσι ώστε ο Boi-1da (σ.σ. μουσικός παραγωγός) να μπορεί να μου στείλει όλα τα νεότερα beats του;» έγραψε ο Drake σε story στο Instagram. «Προσπαθώ να δουλέψω. Ευχαριστώ», σημείωσε.
Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που ο Drake αξιοποιεί την αναγνωρισιμότητά του με δήμαρχο.
Το Φεβρουάριο, αφού κέρδισε ένα βραβείο Grammy τη βραδιά, απευθύνθηκε στο δήμαρχο του Τορόντο, John Tory.
Με αφορμή τη βράβευση του, του ζήτησε να φωτίσει με χρυσά χρώματα τον πύργο τηλεπικοινωνιών και παρατήρησης «Tower CN», ο οποίος βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της πόλης. Ο δήμαρχος το έκανε.
Ο David Ryan, δήμαρχος του Pickering, δεν απάντησε αμέσως στον Drake.
Όμως από τον επίσημο λογαριασμό της δημοτικής αρχής δόθηκε μία μακροσκελής και αναλυτική απάντηση, στην οποία τονίζεται ότι το δημόσιο WiFi «είναι το καλύτερο που υπάρχει» και ότι «το Pickering αναγνωρίστηκε ως μία από τις πιο ευφυείς πόλεις του κόσμου από το Intelligent Community Forum».

We look to deploy more WiFi access points, so in a couple of years, you’ll be able to go 0 to 100 Real Quick. We’re also working on expanding and strengthening Pickering’s broadband network so there will be fast and reliable internet service whether it’s in Matt’s crib or Marvin’s Room. God’s Plan?
